The last few weeks have been about discovering new products and inspirations. There have been numerous trade fairs on around Melbourne which have caused a buzz in the social media. One thing I noticed was the strong colour trend for Neon brights popping up in homewares, furniture and lighting. I am sure you have all noticed these trends yourselves in fashion lately where Neon colours are hit in jeans, shoes and accessories.

This burst of colour really gets me excited about design and makes me feel optimistic about life in general. I can’t wait to help my clients use these colours in their own projects. They really do invigorate a space by adding a bit of excitement and passion. Here are my Neon colour snippets I have collected from last week to share with you. I hope you find them fun as I do.

Add a contemporary vibe to your interior with splashes of bold colours in dining chairs and lighting. I love the yellow glow smartie table lamp from Domayne Furinture.

I stumbled across these amazing spotty shoes in Asos. I recently became addicted to online shopping. It’s so easy and fun (especially when you are time poor and pregnant!)

Dinosaur Designs is my favourite store in Melbourne. They make exquisite sculptural items from jewellery to homewares with each piece being unique. They are also using the Neon brights in their new range of jewellery. The pink and yellow combo makes a great statement to your outfit.
