March was a really busy month with the launch of Von Haus Interior Colour Workshops. What a great success it turned out to be. I had a lovely group of ladies to attend my first workshop all bringing their decorating dilemmas with them. The problems ranged from outdoor rooms to bedroom colour schemes with a few living/dining spaces thrown in the mix too. It was a fun morning and everyone left with a completed colour board for their chosen projects.
I thought I would share with you some of the photos from the workshop. My next one will be held on the Saturday 13th April tickets still available online at Von Haus Design Studio.
In this picture I am showing the group a colour board that I would put together for my own interior design clients.
Everyone had plenty of fabrics and paint colours to choose from for their colour board. Murobond paints sponsored my workshop along with Warwick Fabrics.
Here I help a couple of the ladies with their colour boards after they collected all the materials they needed to solve their room dilemmas.
Sonja has a living /dining room dilemma. How do you merge the two spaces with the right balance of colour through paint, soft furnishings and art works? A common problem in most homes I come across.
One example of a completed colour board for an outdoor room by Monica. Love the use of yellow to highlight the space.
Rebecca beavers away at her colour board for her new house which is in the process of being built. Nice use of deep blues and red tones as a colour scheme.
And the winner of the best colour board goes to Heidi who created a beautiful bedroom colour board using a combination of silver, purple and whites. A great result and she gets to take home a litre of black chalk board paint from Murobond.
Finally all the hard work and planning has paid off and now I can continue to share my passion and knowledge of colour with you all in a fun and inspring workshop, helping you to create a beautiful home.
